The Lobster House is a favorite for MANY people that visit to Cape May.  The views from the main dining room of the harbor are amazing.  In our experiences the food isn’t always the greatest and the service is usually lacking.
While the casual aspect seems appealing I DO NOT recommend eating in the outside picnic bench section as it tends to be a zoo with very poor service.
We definitely DO recommend going to the Fish Market at the Lobster House to pick up fresh seafood or lobsters to make at the cottage.
